Believe it or not, after a number of rate payers having a discussion, after hearing of an experience,concerning a very important issue affecting the quality of life of an elderly gentleman, the then in place, certain few,members and staff in Tendring District Council showed a total indifference to his plight over a long period.
Appropriate publications in the local area we are told seemed very reluctant to approach the subject, which has led to this platform, the "tendringeye.com" being constructed as a non-profit site,so residents can have a voice in an open community and be informed.
Apparently,
Several signatures in support from neighbours, and a few genuine councillors with hearts in the right place,who did listen to his story,were good enough to commit some time and effort on his behalf.
20 months later, an elderly gentleman in his eighties (a refugee from adult abuse and in poor health) is now looking forward to some hope and a decent night's "kip" as they say.
